In this lesson, we will learn various honorific expressions (尊敬語(そんけいご)) to ask something and give advices and gentle encouragements. We will also learn how to thank someone for doing something, how to congratulate others and express the idea that something "is supposed to be so-and-so."

ぶんぽう (Grammar)

  1. Honorific verb forms
  2. To thank someone for doing something: ~くれてありがとう
  3. To congratulate someone: Vてよかったですね ("Congratulations for V-ing")
  4. To say I'm glad something happened: ~てよかったです
  5. To express one's expectation: ~はずです (be supposed to...)
