In Lesson 4, you will learn how to point out and talk about things around you using demonstrative pronouns (これ, それ, あれ, and どれ). You will practice naming objects commonly found in classrooms and homes and learn how to ask and answer questions like “What is this?” and “How do you say X in Japanese?” This lesson also introduces adjectives, allowing you to describe objects—for example, “That’s a new computer” or “It’s not very big.”
