restaurant Waiters and waitresses often use polite expressions to customers and add honorific prefix お (or ご) to numbers. Instead of saying カレーを ひとつ, they say カレーを おひとつ. This is not translatable into English. If you just focus on English translation, you often miss how polite people in business are toward their customers and clients.
