In this lesson, we will deepen our understanding of plain forms, especially plain past forms (verbs, adjectives, and nouns), and learn how they function in casual conversation when talking about past events and personal experiences. We will contrast plain and polite styles and practice choosing the appropriate register. In addition, we will learn how to describe past experiences (~たことがある), list representative activities (~たり~たりする), and express desires (~たい/~たがっている). We will also learn how to give reasons formally using ~ので.
