Let's learn to describe a cat by using the past tense sentences for this exercise.
ねこは くろかったです。(was black)
This cat is not used in the next exercise.
ねこは ちゃいろかったです。(was brown)
ねこは しろかったです。(was white)
To refer to more than one color, use nouns. ねこは しろと くろと ちゃいろでした。
しっぽ(tail)は ながかったです。(was long) or しっぽは みじかかったです。(was short)
A's cat is missing. The others are saying they saw a stray cat a while ago. If you are playing A, ask what kind of cat they saw. Find out who saw your cat. Sample conversation goes like this:
